Institutions of Islamic Law is committed to preserving the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the scholarly record. When necessary, the journal will issue corrections, withdrawals, or retractions in accordance with internationally accepted publishing standards and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
A published article may be retracted if there is clear evidence of plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, unethical research practices, duplicate publication, or significant errors that invalidate the findings. Corrections may be issued when errors do not compromise the overall validity of the research but require clarification or amendment. Withdrawal applies only to manuscripts or articles under exceptional circumstances before formal publication.
All decisions regarding corrections, withdrawals, or retractions are made by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the Editorial Board, following a fair, transparent, and evidence-based editorial process.
