Call for Papers

Institutions of Islamic Law invites scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to submit original manuscripts for the upcoming issue. The journal welcomes high-quality research addressing Islamic legal institutions from doctrinal, empirical, socio-legal, comparative, and interdisciplinary perspectives.

Submission is open throughout the year through the journal's online submission system.


Publication Schedule

Institutions of Islamic Law is published twice a year, in April and October. Manuscripts are accepted on a rolling basis and will undergo double-blind peer review prior to publication.


No Article Processing Charges (APC)

The journal currently does not charge any submission, processing, or publication fees. All accepted articles are published under a full open access policy, allowing immediate and free access to scholarly content.


Invitation for Reviewers

The Editorial Office welcomes experienced researchers with doctoral qualifications and relevant publication records to join our international pool of reviewers. Interested scholars are encouraged to contact the Editorial Office with their academic profile and areas of expertise.

The Editorial Board proudly announces the launch of Institutions of Islamic Law, an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research on Islamic legal institutions, governance, judicial systems, religious authorities, Islamic philanthropy, and related contemporary developments.
