Copyright Notice

Authors who publish in Institutions of Islamic Law retain the copyright to their work while granting the journal the right of first publication. Published articles are made available under the journal's Licensing Policy, which governs the dissemination and reuse of scholarly work in accordance with the applicable license terms.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original, do not infringe the rights of third parties, and have not been published or submitted elsewhere. Where copyrighted materials owned by others are included, authors must obtain the necessary permissions before submission.

By submitting a manuscript, authors agree that, upon acceptance for publication, the journal may publish, distribute, archive, and preserve the article as part of the permanent scholarly record.
