All manuscripts submitted to Institutions of Islamic Law undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine their suitability with the journal's aims, scope, and editorial standards.
Manuscripts that pass the preliminary screening are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief will make one of the following decisions:
The final publication decision is made solely by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers' reports and the journal's editorial standards.
